How much should i feed my hens?
It’s important that treats are feed alongside a balanced diet of pellets or mash. We recommend a handful of treats per chicken in the afternoon/evening it’s a great way to build a routine.
Why should i feed a treat?
It’s a great way to connect with your chicken they will learn your routines it’s also a way to add stimulation into an environment and promote natural foraging instinct.

Pipinchick have created this balanced, healthy treat mix to give to your girls in the afternoon, with mixed corn, rolled oats, garlic, and seeds this mix is a great all-round treat for good health and well-being. With dried parsley and split peas to provide a good source of B12 and essential minerals along with added oyster shell and grit, your girls will love this light mix, you may even hear them clucking away with joy as they take in all this goodness.
Sprinkling a handful on the ground allows you hen to exhibit her natural behaviour by scratching up all the yummy goodies, this creates happy hens and promotes well being.
Easy to digest this mix is great for general good health and well being.
Give one handful (about 50gms) to 3-4 hens in the afternoons as needed
All treat bags are hand made to order, please allow 24 hour from payment to dispatch, not to be given as a food substitute. Not suitable for hens younger than 20 weeks of age.
