The off the ground coop is great for chickens that like to roost up high, all of our flight birds will have no problem jumping from the top in the morning, perfect for more delicate flight birds like the polands,paddies (padavanna). good in a medium sized garden and a decent amount of run space if free ranging isnt available. fliightless birds lartge and small with trining should be able to manage over time. Remember that the size of the run is more important than the size of the house chickens only use the house at night and to lay, the rest of their time is spent outside. We reccomend 1x1m of run space per bantam chicken and 2x2m per large fowl chicken for all other chickens.

This Chicken House comes with many additional features.
- A pull-out cleaning tray,
- vents for a fresh air supply helping to keep Bacteria and dust at bay,
- removable perches for night roosting,
- easy to access nesting areas,
- a raised house to utilise the floor space of the run heavy duty mineral felt roof.
We always recommend allowing as much free foraging time as possible, built in runs are great for space saving, however for long periods of confinement you may need to extend your run space.
Care: Although this product comes treated from the factory we recommend treating again within a month of assembly or if its winter ideally before use, with a good quality preserver ideally an oil/solvent based product like Barrattine, and repeat once or twice a year as necessary, this will protect the wood and help avoid mould spores forming in damp winter weather.
Assembly: This product is delivered flat-packed and can be easily assembled at home by following the comprehensive instructions in the user guide.

Delivery for Chicken Coops & Runs
We fulfil Chicken Coops and Runs orders separately from our chickens and supplies. When ordering a coop or a run, there will only be a £2.50 delivery charge.
Delivery of chicken houses are usually within 1 week of purchase unless specified and the delivery cost is included in the price of the house . All houses purchased will come with 10% off any chicken order you place with us, if ordering your house first you will receive a discount code upon completing your purchase to use with us next time. Chickens and houses purchased together. Your poultry will be delivered within 2 weeks of your house’s arrival, giving you time to build your run and house and prepare for your new arrivals. Your 10% discount will be automatically applied at checkout in this instance.
