Will this help my chickens’ lay good eggs?
Yes, oyster shell is a natural source of calcium, essential for hens to produce healthy eggs.
How do I give Oyster Shell to my chickens?
We find that mixing a tbs in with your daily treats and scattering on the ground is the best way. This not only encourages foraging which is a natural behaviour helping to promote overall well bing but when the hen forages the treats they will forage the shell too. If left out in a dish for the hens they tend not to take it.
